Age: 5 years Sex: Female Breed: Beagle Cross
Lilly is a lovely girl, a very strong dog she needs a firm but fair owner and would be best suited to someone who is an experienced dog owner. Lilly has deep rooted separation anxiety & ideally needs someone who can give her a lot of time & patience. She is a very loving girl & gets quickly attached to people, she doesn’t like anyone leaving, even if she’s only known them for half an hour! Lilly adores children & loves cats but has issues with other dogs, especially bitches. Being a Beagle & of the hound family once she finds an interesting scent she’s off! So, it’s best not to let her off leash when outdoors unless in a fully enclosed area. In the house Lilly loves to play & is very good (when someone is in with her) & always asks if she needs to go outside. It’s quite difficult to leave Lilly in the house on her own, she becomes quickly upset & I think she is frightened of being abandoned so tries to escape the confines of the house. Whoever gives this beautiful girl a home will have to spend a good deal of time acclimatising her to being left on her own as if you go out she seems to really believe you are never going to come back, but this lovely girl is worth the effort, she gives so much love & is a joy to be with.
