Age: 3 Sex: Female Breed: Pointer
Darcy is a very soft and loving girl, usually more so once she has burnt off all her energy though! She is strong on her lead and always very eager to run around and explore. She is a typical energetic pointer who always wants to be on the go.
She has very little training and is going to need an owner who is willing to almost start with scratch with her and give her the guidance she needs. On her brief time away from us whilst she was under assessment to become a passive detection dog, she did show great initiative to work. She is also obsessed with food which always helps with training!
Darcy was wonderful in the house. She never destroyed anything (but has destroyed things whilst she has been in kennel with us) and she was house trained. She was quite as a mouse and had great manners. She never begged around food and she loved getting lots of attention.
Darcy is reactive towards other dogs when she is on her lead. The majority of the time she will play happily off-lead with other dogs, but has gone for other dogs for seemingly no clear reason.
