Age: 15 months Sex: Male Breed: Staffy
Meet Scooby! Scooby came to Moorview in November 2017 but sadly has been returned.
Scooby is going to need home where he will be given lots of exercise and mental stimulation as he is a young, lively, and quite boisterous puppy. Once he has had a run around with a ball to burn off some energy, Scooby will walk well on the lead, unless of course distracted by squirrels, cats or other dogs! When distracted or over excited, Scooby can pull on the lead so any potential owners need to be physically fit enough to manage him.
Scooby is very responsive to training and loves being told he is a good boy! His training is well under way, but as a young dog, Scooby needs someone who is prepared to train him and help with his socialisation and genner manners. Scooby is good with other dogs, but he does get very excited to meet them, but the other dogs do not always welcome his exuberance (hence teaching him some doggy-etiquette!
Scooby would suit a cat-free home with older dog-savvy kids in an active family who spend lots of time outdoors. Scooby has been in and out of rescue over the past few months so we need someone who can offer Scooby stability and consistency, and get him into a routine. Scooby is a lovely natured, happy and friendly dog who is looking for his forever home!
